Company Overview

We are partnering with a leading AV systems integrator that has experienced significant growth over the past few years, expanding nationally with a strong reputation for technical excellence and customer dedication. With a leadership team that values collaboration, authenticity, and personal connection, this company fosters a culture where employees feel supported, challenged, and genuinely excited to contribute.

Despite their growth, they’ve maintained the intimate, tight-knit culture of a smaller business—where everyone has a voice, and relationships matter. With headquarters in the Pacific Northwest, they deliver enterprise-level integration work across the country, and they’re now investing in growing their internal design and engineering infrastructure.

Why Join Us?

  • True Work-Life Balance: Fully remote (except CA) with flexible hours and a monthly internet stipend.
  • Supportive Leadership: You’ll work directly with a knowledgeable, long-tenured department head who values initiative, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Impactful Work: Your standards and workflows will shape the future of the company’s drafting process.
  • Strong Culture: People-first culture built on transparency, respect, and connection. Teams genuinely enjoy working together—in person and remotely.
  • Growth Opportunity: While management responsibilities are limited for now, there’s room to grow into a stronger leadership role as the team scales.

  • Train internal team members on standards, tools (AutoCAD, Bluebeam), and updates
  • Collaborate with designers on renderings, site-line studies, and visual presentation materials
  • Supervise the flow of work to subcontracted drafting teams and internal drafting coordinator
  • Participate in project kickoffs and weekly department meetings
  • Recommend process improvements, tools, or hiring needs as the department grows

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of drafting experience using AutoCAD
  • 3+ years of technical design experience in AV, low-voltage, electrical, or related industries

  • Experience with Bluebeam is strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Culturally aware and collaborative—comfortable working with diverse, global teams

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
  • Must be comfortable using modern workplace tools and technology

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time Off and Company Holidays
  • Monthly Internet Stipend
