Job Overview
This integrator is seeking an AV Lead Installer to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, the Lead Installer will be responsible for overseeing and guiding project technicians, handling responsibilities such as task assignments, mentoring, and fostering the development of technician staff. When not actively managing or coordinating team activities, the AV Lead Installer will perform hands-on technical duties alongside the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation and configuration of AV systems, including pre-wiring, trim, and equipment setup
- Mentor and guide junior technicians, ensuring best practices are followed
- Work with project managers and clients to meet project specifications and timelines
- Ensure high standards of installation, focusing on both functionality and aesthetics
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with installation of AV systems and Associate Degree (longer work history can be substituted for education)
- Control System installation and commissioning experience
- Ability to setup, test, calibrate and commission equipment and devices as required to produce fully functional systems. This includes display systems, screens, cameras, switchers, scalers, processors, transmitters, receivers, interfaces, amplifiers, controls, and other active and passive devices
- Self-starter, self-motivated, Independent, and a dependable team player
- Willingness to adopt to ever changing and growing environment
- Prompt and Professional
- A valid drivers license
Nice to Have Qualifications
- Certifications in Control4, Ubiquiti Unifi, Crestron, or Lutron (not required but highly valued)
- Experience working in a collaborative, team oriented environment
- Ability to coach and mentor junior technicians, contributing to the overall success of the service team

- Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs

Compensation
$75,000-$90,000 Based on Experience
