Job Overview

The Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of customer service and technician scheduling. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage service requests, technician schedules, and client interactions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and has a strong ability to problem-solve and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Dispatching: Coordinate technicians' schedules to ensure timely service and maximum efficiency.
  • Client Support: Serve as the main point of contact for clients requiring service, troubleshooting issues remotely when possible.
  • Billing & Collections: Manage service department invoicing, billing, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-ups on outstanding payments.
  • Technical Troubleshooting:Assist with diagnosing and resolving issues related to Control4, networking, video switching, audio distribution, and home automation to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Workflow Optimization: Assist in developing and improving operational processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Coordination: Work with the warehouse team to ensure that all necessary equipment is available for upcoming jobs.
  • Quality Control: Monitor service performance and client feedback to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Background in AV, security, automation, or technology integration.
  • Strong Organization & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple service requests and technician schedules with precision.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Comfortable working with clients and technicians to ensure seamless service coordination.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Able to troubleshoot service issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Proactive & Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Compensation

  • $55,000 - $72,000 based on experience
