Position Overview

This Production Coordinator role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and enjoys being the hub that keeps everything moving smoothly. Reporting directly to the Production Manager (and sitting side-by-side in the Greenville office), this person will own the daily scheduling and coordination of field technicians, collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams, and ensure customers stay informed and supported from start to finish.

You’ll need to be comfortable juggling multiple calendars, adjusting plans on the fly, communicating professionally with vendors, clients, and coworkers, and owning your work with confidence and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate installation and service schedules for multiple field teams, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Serve as the communication hub between the production team, technicians, procurement, and warehouse personnel.
  • Adjust schedules based on client availability, product delays, or trade partner changes (electricians, HVAC, builders, etc.).
  • Proactively identify calendar gaps and redeploy technician time efficiently.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm appointments, communicate schedule changes, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Keep the Production Manager informed on potential issues, progress, and resource availability.
  • Stay calm under pressure, diplomatically navigate client or internal tensions, and resolve conflicts with professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong scheduling or coordination background—experience managing multiple calendars, like in dispatch or medical office settings, is ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills—especially over the phone and in writing.
  • High emotional intelligence—able to stay level-headed when plans change or clients get demanding.
  • Self-starter mindset with the initiative to make decisions and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Professionalism with a soft, approachable demeanor—someone who is pleasant but firm.
  • Ability to balance client expectations with internal resource constraints and team dynamics.
  • Comfort working closely with technical staff and learning the AV lingo over time (no technical experience required).
  • Availability to occasionally follow up with clients outside of business hours, with flexibility granted in return once trained.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, dispatching, or customer service roles.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, take-charge attitude.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
  • Located in or near Greenville, SC (in-office presence required, especially during ramp-up).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, based on experience
  • Benefits:
    • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
    • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Company Holidays
    • Simple IRA with Company Match
    • Structured growth path with room to expand your role
    • Supportive, flexible culture once training is complete
