Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) with a hunter mentality to drive new business opportunities within the luxury residential AV sector. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented professional who can build and maintain relationships with builders, architects, high-net-worth individuals, and other key market influencers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for sales, an ability to manage complex sales cycles, and a desire to contribute to a fast-growing company.


Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strategic partnerships with builders, architects, interior designers, and real estate professionals to create predictable and sustainable sales opportunities.
  • Market Strategy: Target high-potential clients and create long-term relationships that support the company’s growth strategy.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects, delivering tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation through contract closure, ensuring an exceptional client experience.
  • Time Management: Balance immediate sales opportunities with long-term relationship-building activities, focusing on both direct sales and nurturing referral networks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role, ideally in the AV, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong hunter sales mentality with demonstrated success in building and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with high-net-worth individuals and industry professionals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability culture, bringing energy and a proactive approach to your work.
  • Self-motivated, with an ownership mindset and the ability to work independently without needing extensive direction.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles and working in a mature sales organization is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with AV systems or the construction industry are preferred.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $45,000 - $55,000
  • On Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000+ (Base + Commission)
