Job Overview
This integrator is seeking a Senior Service Technician to join their dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading existing AV systems in residential settings. You will handle service calls, provide remote support, and occasionally manage small upgrade projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical expertise and a passion for problem-solving to lead and grow within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair existing AV systems, including control, networking, and lighting setups
- Perform remote and on-site service support, responding to customer needs promptly and professionally
- Manage small upgrade projects, integrating new equipment into existing systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to provide top-notch service and maintain high standards of quality
- Participate in after-hours support rotations, providing extended customer service beyond regular hours
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience working with Control4, Ubiquiti Unifi and Lutron systems (at least two of the three required)
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and servicing home automation systems
- Ability to program and service AV systems independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining client relationships
- Willingness to participate in after-hours support as part of a team rotation
Nice to Have Qualifications
- Certifications in Control4, Ubiquiti Unifi, or Lutron (not required but highly valued)
- Experience working in a collaborative, team oriented environment
- Ability to coach and mentor junior technicians, contributing to the overall success of the service team

- Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs

Compensation
$75,000-$85,000 Based on Experience + $15,000 for after-hours support duties
