Job Overview
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities while nurturing incoming leads. This dual-focus role demands a balance of proactive outbound sales and reactive client engagement. You will act as the client’s trusted advisor, guiding them from initial consultation through to solution delivery. You’ll liaise closely with internal design teams, translating client needs into sophisticated AV proposals and ensuring seamless project execution.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and close high-value sales opportunities across luxury residential markets.
- Conduct client discovery meetings, including site walkthroughs and detailed needs assessments.
- Present and refine proposals in collaboration with the design team to align with client visions.
- Maintain relationships with builders, architects, and interior designers to drive ongoing referrals.
- Manage the full sales cycle and act as liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Track opportunities and client interactions using CRM and internal project tools.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for leadership review.
- Provide strategic input on market trends and client feedback.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in high-end residential AV or a closely related industry.
- Strong knowledge of AV technology and luxury smart home solutions.
- Proven success in both inside and outside sales roles.
- Consultative sales mindset with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently and across multiple departments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $60,000
- Commission: 5% on gross sales (excluding sales tax, freight, and pass-through expenses)
- Commission Payout: Quarterly, based on client payment receipt
