Low Voltage Technician
Company Overview
We are partnering with a well-established residential and commercial technology integration company based in the Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio area. The team designs and installs smart home automation, home theater, security, and networking systems for homeowners, along with AV, security, and network infrastructure for commercial clients, with a workload split roughly evenly between residential and commercial projects.
Built by hands-on owners who are still active in the business today, the company has grown into a team of about a dozen technicians, project managers, and support staff. Leadership describes the company as client-first rather than profit-first, choosing to reinvest in long-term stability for its clients and its people rather than chase short-term margin.
Why Join Us?
- Attitude and Aptitude Over Resume — Leadership would rather hire someone hungry to learn with a strong work ethic than someone with years of experience. Motivated candidates without a direct industry background are welcome to apply.
- Paid Training and Certifications — The company pays for manufacturer certifications and sends technicians to industry trade shows to build their skills, in addition to hands-on training in the office and in the field.
- A Real Path to Grow — Technicians have the opportunity to specialize in service and troubleshooting, a track that comes with higher earning potential, or move toward design and programming work over time.
- Client-First Culture — This is a team that prioritizes doing right by clients and employees over chasing profit, and it shows in how leadership reinvests in the business and its people.
- Team Culture — The team gets together throughout the year, including a holiday celebration, and enjoys informal lunches together when the crew is on the same job site.
